Digital Studio
Participants can enjoy the newly designed Digital Studio to inspire, educate and empower their learning. It consists of state-of-the-art technologies including smart TVs, iPads and Mac computers Participants can learn computer skills, photography, moviemaking, editing and play digital games. The Digital Studio is located on a secure property in Coolaroo and has been designed for ages from age 7+.
Art Studio
Art is creative, messy and so much fun. It has also been used as a therapy because it allows for creativity, reduced stress, processing of emotions and increased self-esteem. The Art Studio was designed for art and craft lovers with disabilities. Participants can enjoy getting creative by painting, drawing, doing craft and mosaic activities, even working on mediums such as wood. The space has been designed by a qualified art teacher and artist, with 5 years’ experience working in the disability support space. All materials are supplied for participants to get creative. The Art Studio is located in Reservoir and is designed for participants from age 7+
Sensory Garden
This is an activity for all the senses, and it truly beautiful. Picture sitting under the pergola, watching the coloured lights twinkle, hearing the birds chirping, and seeing, smelling and touching the herbs and flowers. Can you see it? The Sensory Garden experience allows participants to experience all a garden and outdoor space has to offer. They can grow vegetables, herbs and flowers in a large outdoor space. They can smell and touch the lines of coloured flowers. And they can relax in the hammock under the pergola. The Sensory Garden is in Reservoir and is designed for participants from age 7+.
